Founded in 1927, Panteion University of Social and Political bears the honor of being the oldest University of Social and Political Sciences in Greece, with a great contribution to fostering and developing the social and political sciences.
This is the only Greek University specializing exclusively in Social and Political Sciences. The students can choose between four schools and nine departments so divided: School of International Relations, Communication & Culture; School of Social Sciences & Psychology; School of Political Sciences and School of Economic Sciences & Public Administration.
With 3 Research Institutes, 26 Research Centers and 19 labs, Panteion has a long record in conduction research in the social, political and economic fields. It promotes and manages European and international research cooperation projects. A significant part of this research is related to the social and economic development of Greece. In the last two decades, it has been a clear focus in knowledge and innovation transfer to SME, start-ups and the society in general.
Panteion promotes and supports the exchange and mutual knowledge between professors and scientist from different laboratories, laying the foundations for greater cooperation projects. It now counts more than 300 Erasmus agreements and several MoUs and International Credit Mobility agreements. The mobility is managed by the Department of International Relations & European Union.

Erasmus during the COVID19 emergency: DATA AVAILABLE

Our researchers have gathered different informations, experiences and initiatives in the management of the Erasmus Community during COVID19 emergency. In particular, two of the project’s outputs focused on the aforementioned topics:

  • In the IO1, the researcher interviewed around 100 between incoming/outgoing students and IR/E+ offices staff;
  • The IO5 provides an open-access Blueprint is a practical instrument, easy to read and capable of immediate application.
